CSJ Description

College of St. Joseph

One of the College of St. Joseph’s (CSJ) greatest strengths is its focus on its students. On this small, tightly knit campus, student life both in and outside of the classroom has an almost familial quality. Community service and student leadership are encouraged, helping you to grow both as a student and as a person.

Though grounded in the liberal arts, College of St. Joseph’s academics are professionally oriented. The curriculum combines theoretical classroom-based learning with more practical skills you’ll need for the workforce. More than 30 degree programs are available in the following divisions:

  • Arts & Sciences
  • Business
  • Criminal Justice
  • Education
  • Psychology & Human Services

Additionally, CSJ offers graduate programs in Education, Business and Psychology.

The College of St. Joseph’s admissions application is available online. In addition to the application, the college requires a short personal essay, official transcripts and SAT/ACT scores. CSJ may also ask some candidates to participate in an interview.

Several financial aid resources are available at the College of St. Joseph, including federal programs and institutional scholarships. Because most financial aid is need-based, the college recommends filing a FAFSA by March 1.
