Description

Schuylkill Technology Center in Frackville, Pennsylvania, has all types of career training programs. In addition to technical, business and other professional programs of study, Schuylkill offers short-term training, continuing education courses and programs for high school students.

Standard career training for adults is given in such fields as Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, and Practical Nursing.

Students may also undertake shorter-term courses to achieve skills or professional certifications.

Schuylkill even has a dual program with Lehigh Carbon Community College. Those who want to train for such careers as Electrical Technology may, in fact, earn their degree from Lehigh Carbon while attending Schuylkill.

Similar programs are offered for high school students who want to earn their associate’s degree in one of several technical fields, while attending Schuylkill.

Schuylkill has a rolling admissions policy, which means that you can apply at anytime throughout the year. The only admission requirement is a high school diploma or GED.

Financial aid eligibility is determined by the student’s income and financial need and, for high school students, the parents’ financial situation. After filling out a FAFSA, a determination will be made about how much aid and which types may be awarded. Students may get federal grants and loans or a combination of these.
