Washington Colleges

Washington, the Capital City, is home to several universities, colleges, and other institutions of higher education, both public and private. Notable institutions include The George Washington University, the largest institution of higher education in the nation's capitol, Georgetown University the nation's oldest Roman Catholic affiliated body of higher education and The University of the District of Columbia is the city's public university and the nation's only urban land-grant university.
