Saint Paul Colleges
Saint Paul, the Pig's Eye, is the capital of Minnesota and the second in the United States in number of education institutions per capita. Saint Paul is home to three public and eight private colleges and universities, and five post-secondary institutions. Notable colleges and universities include: the College of Saint Catherine and University of St. Thomas which are private Catholic institutes, Concordia University and Macalester College both liberal arts schools, and Hamline University, the first institution of higher education in the state.
