San Antonio Area Colleges

In the San Antonio area you’ll find numerous educational institutions, both private and public. The San Antonio area is home to Texas State University and branches of Texas A&M, University of Texas, Alamo Community Colleges and Southwest Texas Community College. The region's religious-affiliated universities include St. Mary's University, University of the Incarnate Word, Schreiner University, Texas Lutheran University and Wayland Baptist University. You'll also find the historically black St. Phillips College and the community-oriented Northwest Vista College, among several other schools.
