Scholarship Criteria
Applicant must be a Florida-based teacher who holds a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate or Florida Department of Health License, is certified in a statewide critical teacher shortage (CTS) area, and is teaching for the first time in the same CTS subject area in a publicly-funded school. Application must be made by deadline date of first year applicant is both certified in and teaching in the same state-designated critical shortage area. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made.
