Scholarship Criteria
Applicant must be a Missouri resident who is a high school senior or college student seeking certification to teach in Missouri public schools. Applicant must have ranked in the top 15% on the ACT or have ranked in the top 15% of their high school senior class. Candidates are selected on the basis of high school rank, ACT/SAT score, school and community activities, interests, leadership skills, employment experience, desire to enter the field of education and recommendations. College or university chosen must have an approved teacher education program, which the recipient will be participating in.
