Popular LaGrange College Scholarships

LaGrange College features both academic and departmental scholarships. Academic scholarships, such as the Fellows Scholarship, are merit-based awards. Your eligibility for these awards depends on your high school GPA and standardized test scores.

Departmental scholarships narrow the applicant field further, only considering students in certain degree programs. For example, the Herbert H. Cox Annual Music Scholarship is open to music majors.

Don’t forget to apply for state aid, too. LaGrange College is eligible for all state-funded financial aid, such as the HOPE Grant Program and the HOPE Scholarship Program.

Applying for LaGrange College Scholarships

For academic scholarships, LaGrange College uses a unique “recalculated GPA” system. The recalculated high school GPA considers only your classes in English, foreign languages, social studies, mathematics and laboratory science.

At LaGrange College, you can only earn one academic scholarship per year. If you qualify for more than one academic scholarship, LaGrange will grant you the scholarship with the highest award amount.
