Types of Marketing Scholarships

Though there are a few fellowships available, most of the financial aid available specifically to marketing majors will be found through scholarships. A number of these scholarships are school-specific, through schools like Northwood University, Clemson University or the University of Alabama.

Popular Scholarships for Marketing Majors

Some financial aid for marketers is very specific. For example, women pursuing graduate studies in marketing who have ideas of how to market electrical energy can consider the Julia Kiene Fellowship in Electrical Energy.

Scholarships will sometimes be funded by a specific industry, giving priority to students with knowledge in that field. Examples include the Coastal Bend Food Industry Scholarship at Texas A&M or the Marvin Stein Endowed Scholarship at Northwood University for students interested in automotive marketing.

Applying for Marketing Scholarships

A minimum GPA will often be required for scholarships, and other criteria (such as interest in a specific field) may apply. Applicants will often have to provide a writing sample or portfolio as well.
