Academics Rating

As I mentioned previously, I had no complaints about the academic side of Duquesne. I had good professors, and none of their courses were unreasonably difficult. Some classes do require that the students participate in off campus activities or gatherings that occur late in the evening. Transportation and work schedules again becomes an issue, perhaps for commuters more than those living on campus. All of my classes were relatively small--eleven students at the smallest and a little over thirty at the very largest. Students in different majors do have much larger, less intimate classes.

The material you learn is difficult, however, you're getting a better education compared to taking classes at other schools and you're getting your moneys worth for a great education. Most of the teachers are great, and the academic advisors are helpful.
