The school is so wonderful for the transfer program that I can be prepared for a new school in the fall semester 2012. That is my goal to focus on my classes to pull my grades up. I am deaf lady and use sign language.
Academics
american government is so wonderful for me to learn very deeply from my professor. the exams is easy for me because i study almost everyday. It can help me to increase my new words and i can use it seldomly.

Through out the time I spent in Wake Tech I did enjoy myself with new friends and less boundaries unlike High school. Although most of my time was studying in the Library, I actually liked what classes I had and I never had a moment of constant boredom that brought me to the idea of sleeping.
Academics
The teacher/professors seemed to really have a passion for their job and made the tedious idea of learning something to a student sound fun. The number of students ranged around thirty in each class and that number normally decreased down to twenty by the end of the semester. Book/homework took only a few of my night because many of my professors liked the work done in class to make sure the students understood everything.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus alone is relaxing and very clean although many of the students look like they are on a mission half the time so many of the "social encounters" are due to opening the door for someone unless you meet the student in the cafe or game room. The game room is full of life with people that can talk to anyone and are outgoing. I spent a lot of time there to relieve any stress while I waited for my classes to begin. Parking was the normal situation of hoping for a good spot. The indoors of the campus was always clean and the security guards were nice to talk to. Although this was my first college campus, I found it to be relaxing and entertaining for the most part.

Overall
Wake Tech offers many courses and programs to suit everyone. Trying to figure out how to return to school again after thirty years is very scary . However , each time I encounter another obstacle or have trouble with my admissions or financial aide, I just pick up the phone . The staff has been extremely helpful while my particular case has seemed hopeless . Not to mention their locations are also very convenient . I would love to be able to attend this school to now further my education .

I attended a orientation and took my tabe test at their continuing adult education center , and also went in for a few practice test . I choose to do the on line program . The online program required that I spent at least nine hours a week on line which was easy to do and then some . My instructors were always helpful and responded in a timely manner always . I did not appreciate High school as I should have so to have instructors there willing and eager to help me and give me a second at and education is huge .it's never to late .
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus where I was going for the Adult GED had very good security they were always within sight . felt very safe overall , the front office was also helpful with directions and information . very friendly !
