The SOM 301 which is Business writing is very hard and difficult to pass especially for international students. It is important to pass this class to be in the school of management at George Mason. With that said, it means that George Mason prepares students to be professional and be able to adapt themselves in a workplace environment. This school has great professors and programs. Also if someone has problem with english , they can improve their english writing by using the Learning resources available on campus or attending workshop. This is my second year in the school and so far I had good professors like Professor Constant Cheng for Marketing class(MKTG 301) and Patrick Walsh (ACCT 301) for Accounting class. Class size is quite big and very convenient for students to listen to their lecture. They do have high technology equipment used to facilitate professor to give their lecture and show videos or other programs.

Depending on the class size can go from 50 to 300. The professors are great and always available to assist and offer office hours. There are tutoring centers for most classes which are free and a writing center. If you search out what you are looking for you will find it at George Mason. There are many resources available to students and they are useful and helpful and free of charge.
