Academics Rating

YSU provides around 150 majors, and for a university this size, it's amazing to see how they are able to organize all this to students' needs. You may think I is all cramped but I YSU has managed to organize classes and timings accordingly so that there is no congestion on campus. The professors at YSU are above average. All the professors I've had thus far are respectful, fun, smart, and easy going. They've made class a lot less boring. The amount of work you get really depends on the course you take and how you are able to organize yourself. You have to expect time where you are required to do lots of work (COLLEGE!), but then there are times where you have almost nothing to do.
