Overall

The beauty of the campus was what first attracted me to look into applying. Upon discovering that SCU has a great Business school and was well connected in the community, that was what made me choose to attend. The Career Center provides a lot of useful tools and seminars to assist in the search for internships and jobs.

Academics

The class sizes were usually 20-30 students, therefore the professors were able to get to know you on a personal level. SCU wants their students to be well-rounded so there are a lot of courses that they want you to take outside of your major. SCU has an evaluation program that students have access to in obtaining feedback on the professor, class, and workload which is useful when selecting classes for the next quarter.

College Life

SCU did not have any school-affiliated non-academic related Greek system which I was a little disappointed to learn about. SCU is only known for their basketball and soccer teams and do not have any other sports teams such as football. If a student is looking for a school with a lot of social events, I don't think SCU would be on the top of the list.

Overall

Santa Clara is a small, tight knit campus which allowed me to build life long friendships with fellow students, faculty and staff. Small class sizes fostered deeper, more meaningful diolague and learning inside the classroom. A competative, fun-loving atmoshpere surrounds campus life and enhances the overall college experience. Wouldn't trade my time at Santa Clara for anything.

Academics

The workload was challenging, but fair. Professors were always available and eager to assist students in their educational pursuits. With small class sizes, many professors were able to recognize individual student's potential and help fulfill it.

College Life

Always something going on for those looking for activity: intramural & club sports, student groups, campus-wide events. A strong core of intercollegiate teams to watch and cheer for as well. Proximity to skiing, the beach, San Jose, San Francisco all add to a near endless list of available activities and experiences.

Overall

It is a great school with a lot of helpful and cheerful people. The students are all so nice and the teachers are as well. The campus is very beautiful, especially the parts built in the 1800s. The church is nice and the community of students that attend it have such a close bond. I just can't wait to attend this school beginning this fall.

Academics

The teachers are very knowledgeable of their subject area and the teacher to student ratio isn't too large, giving students a much better learning opportunity. The school is located in Silicon Valley, so there is always a chance that visibly good effort and achievements in certain technology courses in this school will lead to an internship or job offer from a major company such as Apple. This school's classes give such amazing opportunities to the students.

College Life

With priests monitoring the halls, this school is nothing but safe. There are events such as festivals held on campus. Everyone is so friendly and they all have the drive to participate in activities. Sports are a great part of this school, which makes me proud to become a Broncho.
