Overall
I think the atmosphere at the school is very welcoming. Even though it is located in an area that wouldn't be considered the safest, I think the school has taken a lot of precaution in ensuring the safety of their students. The campus as a whole is beautiful. The groundskeepers do a good job at keeping everything pleasing to look at. I've met a lot of great people at this school and have met the man of my dreams here. There are quite a bit of activities to do and it is fun to get involved in them to meet new people. A tip I would give prospective students is to explore the campus and not just the building that your classes are in. Make new friends in your college and other colleges because these people may be your colleagues in the future.
Academics
The classes in the program that I'm in (Radiography) are very challenging but it is worth it because it more than prepares us for the registry we have to take after we graduate. The professors in my program are great at what they do and instills a lot of knowledge in the medical imaging field. The class size isn't too large so making friends is not hard to do because you'll see these people every day and will get to know each and every one of them.
College Life
The social atmosphere here is good. There are many organizations that people can be a part of. There are also a lot of volunteer opportunities. I'm involved in the blood drive committee for my college and try to encourage people to donate blood. It is not hard to make friends here because the programs are so specific that you will meet people that are very similar to you since you chose the same profession to get into. The campus is a safe place and I never feel threatened or scared when I'm on campus. There are a lot of safety precautions that the school takes to ensure the safety of their students such as having security guards/police officers escort you back to your car if you stay on campus late at night.

Overall
The overall experience has been wonderful and I have really enjoyed my time at OU. This iwas my first time to attned a major university and I will miss it once I graduate. However I do plan on returning to finish my masters degree in nursing.
Academics
The career mobility program is excellent and I feel like I have learned a great deal. The instructors are excellent and truely care about the future and success of their students. This is the only university in Oklahoma that I have found that has such a program with a resaonable tuition and a great repution.
College Life
The nursing organizations are greatly involved with the school. The social atmoshphere is very open and welcomes new students. While attending OU I joined the college of nursing student association, which gave me an opportunity to get involved in school activites.
