Academics Rating

The school itself is small but, it has good programs for students intersted in pursing a nursing career, dental hygiene, and many more. Professors at PCC are well prepared and focused in their job. The professors I've had are responsible; always on time, they have all their materials, they make a class environment fun and keep students awake and busy all the time. There are some professors that do give a lot of work but it is a part of education. About the class sizes usually classes have the capacity of 25 students which is an average size.

Academics Rating

Being part of the Registered Nursing program at PCC makes my experience different than the average student, but probably similar to any other vocational program at PCC. That being said my classes were always available and my professors wanted us to succeed. My workload was heavy, even though my class credits didn't reflect this fact. My one main complaint is that the students in the RN program should be considered full-time students. There are 65 students in my nursing class and 10-11 in each clinical class. My personal experiences aside PCC offers a vast amount of classes in a diverse array of subjects. There are also many vocational programs available such as Licensed Vocational Nurse, Medical Assisting, and X-ray technician to name a few in the medical field. They also offer continuing education classes, such as yoga, that are great.
