Reviews for Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck
Check that the majors you are interested in are actually at this campus. I was mislead and as a result, spent a very unhappy year there. The campus empties out on the weekends and becomes a ghost town. The financial, registration, and counseling offices were difficult to work with in my experience and required constant wheedling to accomplish even the most menial tasks. Registering for classes could take days, and even now asking for transcripts requires a drive and constantly being passed off to other departments and secretaries, who are unpleasant and unwilling to cooperate.
The professors are supportive and interesting, and some are willing to work with students on a one on one basis.
This campus is dead on the weekends, and the town it's located in has strict blue laws that as a result, everything is closed on saturdays and sundays. Students in organizations tend to congregate amongst themselves, and the cafeteria hours are strictly enforced.
