Academics
this is my first year bacck in school since 1983 eveything is new but i choose chobot college they have good classes and the admisfer is good and i like that but i can say honestly they need more campus parking.
Campus Facilities & Safety
they can use more paking instead of trees its very hard to find a park i think thats why a lot of students choose the oneline classes to avoid the parking me i like the san leandro campus better they have parking and i like that and i attend my class better hayward its not good for me plus iam an disable student and those parks are the first to be gone not but security is well so far no problems and i like that inspited what happened at the oakland university insadent very said my heart goes out to there family members and thats it for now thank you.

Overall
In the beginning, I was a bit iffy about attending this school. I heard that there were a lot of fights that took place, and overall was a not so safe environment for school. However, once classes started, my opinion completely changed. The professors really care about your education and genuinely want students to succeed. The overall atmosphere is much nicer than what most students tend to think.
Academics
Attending a community college made me expect huge class sizes and professors who don't really care. I was completely wrong. My classes all have a very reasonable number of students, and the professors already know each of the students' names in their classes. The workload is manageable, but not too easy. As a freshman, I'm not too familiar with all of the programs and classes offered here at Chabot, but I do know that they have many classes that are transferrable, which is my main goal.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus atmosphere is very friendly, and the classrooms are very nice. I still have yet to be in a computer lab, but the library could use a little renovation. The parking lot is very packed, especially in the mornings, so it is very difficult to find parking spots. Campus safety is also something that could be improved, because there is only one campus safety available to escort students to their cars at night.
