Reviews for Southwest Institute of Healing Arts
Most amazing school I've ever been to. Completely changed my life for the better and taught me so much! I went there to study massage therapy because I wanted a career that would let me travel, but got introduced to so much more. It opened my eyes to much more than the physical body and got me interested in energy work. I was skeptical at first, but once I learned more and felt how powerful it can be, I wanted to explore more. And what's nice is that I got to take whatever classes interested me. There were certain core classes that I had to take in the massage program, but outside of those there was lots of room to explore.
Classes were all small, which was really nice because you got to know so many people and form great bonds through the program. And you got to know the teachers really well, who were always incredibly supportive and offered help whenever you needed. All of the teachers know you by name. And every teacher, every class, has so much to offer. And what's great is that you can audit the classes for free, as many times as you want to! That's the best part, I feel like, because there's so much information offered in each class that it's nice to have the option of taking it again.
Campus Facilities & Safety
Just going into the school, stepping through the doors, makes you feel wonderful! It's a very small campus, so easy to find your class and everything. Wonderful bookstore onsite with everything you need for classes, as well as massage supplies and other goodies. And there's always free tea! Parking is difficult some days because there's not much of it, but there's a lot next door that you can use as well, and I believe they have also received permission to use a lot down the street.
