I love Clemson! I love the atmosphere of a good ole' football game! The rush you get when the players run down the hill is like no other. My most memorable experience is my first football game! Not to mention, the concerts that come to LittleJohn coliseum are always good! I got to see Zac Brown Band up close and personal, it was truly an amazing experience and it makes me love my college just that much more!

Academics

Nursing school is not easy. There is ALWAYS something to do, and if you think you're all done then you begin studying for future classes! The professors are nice and want to help everyone succeed. The classes are fairly large but the professors take the time to get to know you! I remember being told that Clemson professors are just worried about research and not the students but that is not the case! All the professors I have had so far have been overly helpful and want you to succeed.

College Life

The college life at Clemson University is outstanding! There is a lot of orange and purple pride and everyone usually loves it here! There are many organizations and clubs to keep everyone involved! Once you are involved in something, college life is that much better!

Like they say, there's something in these hills. As soon as I stepped on Clemson's campus I knew I had found where I was going to spend the most memorable and exciting four years of my life. The beautiful campus, the small town, the atmosphere that is constantly on campus, and the lake two miles away from campus was perfect for me. Clemson University isn't just a college, it's a family. My most memorable experience from Clemson so far would have to be my first Clemson game as an official tiger! As soon as the football players ran down the hill goose bumps over took my body. The most important tip I would give to prospective students is to know your resources that are provided by the university. There is plenty of academic help available, such as the Academic Success Center, SI sessions, and tutoring by fellow students constantly in the library. All of the facilities are great and there is always someone to call or go see if you have any problems or concerns.

Academics

The classes at Clemson University are challenging but also very rewarding. Being able to work through a course with your classmates and teachers at Clemson is something that I never experienced in high school. The atmosphere in the classes is always upbeat and you can really tell that the professors love what they are doing. The professors are always open to help and are very engaged with the class he or she is teaching. I like having the diversity in class sizes. Some of my classes that are more centered around my major tend to be smaller which I really like because I get to know the people who will be in many of my classes for the next four years. The work load is sometimes difficult, but what college student doesn't have a heavy work load at times? If you keep up with your classes the easier your semester will be.

College Life

When I think of college life the first thing that comes to my mind is football. Clemson football is definitely the highlight of many people's college career. The atmosphere in Death Valley is honestly indescribable. The constant excitement and being with your university as one team is an incredible feeling that I wish everyone could experience. I am a member in Alpha Chi Omega. It is such a cool experience to be a part of something such as a sisterhood. Having such a close knit group of girls to encourage and support you is priceless. Greek life is huge at Clemson, there is rarely ever a weekend when a sorority and fraternity is not having some sort of function. This is just another way that the students at Clemson come together to be a close knit environment. There is rarely ever a week when I walk around campus and don't see a club or organization promoting something in a fun and different way. Having that constant reminder that there are so many things going on around campus is comforting knowing that being away from home I still have so many things to do so I will never be bored. Campus safety is something that is constantly promoted and being improved all over campus. There is never a moment when I question my safety. To ensure this, there are emails and texts that are sent out if the weather gets bad or if the university feels any kind of threat. There are also many campus emergency phones placed throughout campus. I have never had a boring weekend at Clemson. If I'm not studying, I love going out on the lake, that's one of my favorite things to do up here. The university is always hosting many free events that students are encouraged to attend.

I really like the atmosphere here. Despite the fact that it is a 20000 person university, it truly fits the feeling of a small-town university. The people here are genuinly nice and are easy to talk to.

Academics

The class sizes are not huge for the most part and the professors (or at least a good number of them) are willing to get to know you if you are willing to put the time into introducing yourself and knowing them. The workload is manageable and the programs challenging, yet not impossible.

College Life

The organizations here are open to new people all the time and as for campus security, I feel fairly safe at night (my slight unease mainly caused by my fear of being outside at night). Athletics are good and the weekend activities are pretty nice as well.

Clemson University is a great choice for anyone who wants to go to a big school but wants to feel like they are at a small school. Clemson is a university where everyone can fit in. I love the fact that they offer so many activities for the students on a daily basis. There are concerts, dances, sporting events, and more.

Academics

Clemson has wonderful professors who really are engaged in the students academics. The class sizes are average so every student has the best opportunity possible. There are many different classes to choose from ranging from yoga and shagging class to calculus and biology.

College Life

There are many events that a Clemson college student can do such as sporting events with a team always having a game or match or competition. There are organizations such as Younglife and FCA where people can gather and share their beliefs. The campus is extremely safe because they offer transportation for any students who needs it especially if it is late at night or by themselves.

I went on an official for the Rowing Program at Clemson University. This campus thrives with school spirit! The football ball games are intense and nerve wrecking with everyone in South Carolina packed inside Death Valley smothered in orange and purple. I have been rowing for five years in hopes of going to this outstanding school and it might all come true soon enough!

Academics

The Professors are amazing. Although I only had the chance to meet the Academic Advisors at this University, I talked to my future team mates and all I heard was how much they are willing to work with you. Also, being in the athletic department I will have a certain amount of hours each week to attend and have a tutor. This school thrives on achieving the academic goals. They want every student to succeed during college and after. Clemson University really pushes for internships, which is great way to get in the working world.

College Life

I have been in contact with the Rowing coach ever since I started rowing. She help push me past my 'mental blockings' and achieve my goals. Whether you are a student or a teacher, all I see is others helping you find your way through this college experience. This University is filled with weekend activities! When I went on my official, I went during homecoming weekend, there were massive floats from sororities and fraternities. It seemed like everyone at the school was there and taking pictures with these floats.
