Reviews for St. Catherine University
Overall, St. Catherine University is a great place to live and study. The faculty is always readily available and willing to help, and the transition from high school was very easy. The school has a great reputation around the area, and I love the fact that it is fenced in! It gives the school a feeling of exclusivity....absolutely BEAUTIFUL campus.
The class size is definitely a huge asset for those who learn well in small settings; my biggest class is 30 girls and I have only had one of that size. Typically classes range from about 10-20 girls. Every professor I have had has/is extremely willing to help. I have not experienced ONE adverse thing with the faculty here. The workload is standard, plenty of work but not to the point where it consumes your entire life.
There are many on-campus clubs and organizations. Personally, I have not been active in any of them yet, but hope to do so soon. The social life at this school is one area that must be satisfied elsewhere; it is a fairly small school (despite its being the largest all-girls' school in the nation), and many girls go home on the weekends. One must be proactive at finding things to do (go off campus!), which may be tough for a more introverted person. I have had no issues finding things to do though, as the Twin Cities provide endless entertainment opportunities.
