Reviews for Eastern Gateway Community College
When I started classes at Eastern Gateway Community College, I was looking for something that fit my schedule. I needed to attend classes at night because I work full time on day shift. Sometimes that isn't easy to find. I had already earned my LPN license but wanted to further my education. EGCC has an LPN to RN bridges program that allowed me to work around my schedule. I was able to take some classes online, which was a big help. The classes that I cannot take online I have been able to schedule easily and successfully around my work schedule. Also, if I decided to continue with my education after I reach my goal, all of my classes transfer to local colleges.
I have only had two classes so far that I actually attend. Those classes were both small classes. There were less than 20 people in either class, which made it an easy environment to learn in. My online classes were probably about the same in size also. The professors in all my classes were extremely helpful. They give great feedback whether it is constructive criticism or telling you your strong points.
Campus Facilities & Safety
EGCC offers online classes and actual classrooms. If you want to attend class, EGCC offers classes at five different locations in the area. These classes are at the local EGCC center and other local technical school. This is extremely convenient when trying to schedule your classes.
