Reviews for Kentucky State University
Family like atmosphere. Kentucky State University is a diamond in the rough. The education, knowledge, and experience I received there will forever be used to my favor. KSU prepared me what was to come of the real world and kept eyes set on what goals I wanted out of life. The professors were very helpful and wasn't there just for a paycheck.
Small classes which allowed more one on one time with the professors. KSU has many programs available to their students to get involved in. These activities ranged from Student Life, which was a student to student mentoring program, to intramural programs for students who need to get out and express their competitiveness.
Social atmosphere was okay. Nothing outside of campus. Safey was good, athletics was not...weekend activities did not exist. I always told my friends and family that if KSU was in a bigger city, the sky would be the limit for this historically black university.
I like this college because it is close to home.
