Overall

University of Delaware is a beautiful campus set around a huge green where students collect on sunny days. It's set in Newark, a quaint town with lots of restaurants and shops. Newark won the 2011 Great American Main Street award.

Academics

UD is a medium sized public school, of about 14,000 students. Some classes can be large, but as you get into classes for your major, they are a good size. The Honors Program has about 400 students, and Honors classes are smaller.

College Life

Because it has so many students, UD offers a huge variety of clubs and activities. I noticed there were over 20 religious organizations at UD, while there were only a few at other schools I was visiting.
