Overall

University of Florida is an amazing school, they provide endless amounts of opportunities not only in education, but building ones character. I love the diversity the campus brings, where I am constantly learning not only in my classroom but the cultures of people around me. UF provides high standards and I can see it in the people around me.

Academics

Classes are very big and not very personal which could be challenging for some, it provides growth in knowing you have to rely on yourself to learn the material. The tests are of high standards, but they have a lot of people helping you get through it. Workload is high, professors are extremely busy and hard to get ahold of, but they are very intelligent.

College Life

The atmosphere is positive in the schools, UF is always providing clubs and movements to help with high stress levels. There are many clubs, and organizations, and weekend activities. It is almost overwhelming how much UF has to offer. Our athletics is top notch, and we win games. I have never felt threatened walking around UF, there are cops circulating the campus at all times.

Overall

This school has an outstanding repertoire of academic departments. For me, the prestige of the school's academics rival similar private schools while at a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the student life was so great that I didn't want to leave!

Academics

The academics were difficult yet comprehensive. It has been a while since I attended but the professors I had were well tenured and not exactly pushovers. Most of my classes were tough and required tutoring, studiousness and ability to collaborate with classmates.

College Life

One of my favorite memories of the school was the social atmosphere. The town was quaint and revolved around the University with all of the restaurants, bars and stores geared for college students. There was a large Greek community with over 30 sororities and fraternities in total. The Florida Gators football team was a major part of my experience, attending the football games and festivities helped me to meet a diverse group of people and gave me a sense of community.

I could not have asked for a more incredible college experience than the one I received at the University of Florida. I got to experience two sports championship wins during my time, something that no student will ever forget. I also had the special opportunity to take part in a department that was small, hands-on and pushed me to get to where I am today.

Academics

Being a part of the Graphic Design program at UF, I was lucky enough to be amongst a group of 18 talented individuals, I was able to have my own personal studio/desk space to work on projects in a studio where students were encouraged to work together. This is something I will never forget.

College Life

UF really has everything there is to offer and it provided for me the perfect college experience. It is located in the small town of Gainesville, Florida so the community thrives off of the University. This is great because it units people at school and community more.

Overall

Great experience. I wish I would have grasped how large the campus and first year classes were. I came from a small town and was overwhelmed with the large classes. I encourage everyone to get involved somehow, there is so much to offer-- there is something for everyone. To be able to step outside your comfort zone and experience new things--- college is the time to do that!!

Academics

Some professors were outstanding and there was one during my college life that was terrible and I couldn't believe he was teaching at UF--- just like life, you might get great bosses and then you might get a few lousy bosses. When I got into my upper class classes, there were a few teachers who had such thick accents I couldn't understand what they were trying to teach. But overall- high quality professors.

College Life

I was involved in the greek life and I recommend it. It helps you find a group that is like minded. There are also many community service opportunities through the greek life. Whatever you do- get involved somehow and make the most of the college years.

Overall

I loved everything about this school. If I could do it again I would. The campus life is awesome, the campus dining was great as well.I lived off campus and I loved it.School transportation was good too. There was a bus system that was free for students all day.My first week they made me feel so welcome because there were activities everyday. What I loved the most is that he university was so diverse.I met people from all over and I loved it.

Academics

The classes were amazing. Some were big some were small and some were extra big like an auditorium size big.The biggest class I attended had like 500 students I was appaled I never sat in a class that big but I loved every minute of it.The professors were awesome, it's like they knew the subjects they were teaching down to the T and they made sure it was not a problem to reach them if you needed help with anything. The homework was reasonable never too much to handle.

College Life

Student life was great too. There was always something to do never a dull moment at the Univetsity of Florida. The football games on the weekends alwsys drew a crownd.I loved the greek life but I never got the chance to sign up but the activities were fun to attend. There was churchh too so if you were heavy in church back home you could keep up there.
