Overall
I loved Lehigh's campus and my fellow students. Attending football games was great, especially Lehigh/Lafayette. Off-campus Bethlehem certainly left something to be desired so I often found myself traveling to NY or Philly to get away for a weekend. I was not in a fraternity, but still felt welcome at many Greek events. Living off-campus was OK, but driving up to class was hard due to the heavy parking restrictions on campus.
Academics
I was a Journalism major and wish the Journalism/Communications program were a little bit stronger, but my professors were great and I feel I benefitted greatly from the smaller class sizes especially within my major. The workload was never overwhelming and I always felt like I could call upon any of my professors for extra help outside of class.
College Life
Campus life at Lehigh is great. The Hill was a great place to hang out on weekends and I always felt very safe. Going to sporting events was fun although the lack of transportation to the other side of the hill could be improved. The campus police and local police force always seemed to have it out for Lehigh students. Considering it's a school that's made a name for having a fun on-campus and off-campus scene you'd think the poilice would be a little bit more understadning.

This school prepares you for the real world. They do not baby you here, as in other universities. More often than not, there is no attendance grade. It's your choice to go to class, just like it's your choice to go to work. The university is very helpful when it comes to career advice as well. There are plenty of opportunities for entry level jobs and internships. You just have to have enough gumption to take advantage of all the opportunities. It's all what you make it. And I am proud to call myself a terp!

What drew me to the college was its beauty. I could not find a prettier school with a more ideal setting. Big cities are only an hour to and hour and a half away, but yet Bethlehem gives you that small town feeling that a lot of people crave.
Academics
Classes are definitely challenging, and one has to work to get good grades, but Lehigh has a great faculty that is willing to help students with problems, studying, and preparing for class. One can become very close to their professors.
College Life
From what I am told and experienced, there is always a lot to do on campus on the weekends, as well as the weeknights. Although people have the option of going home on the weekends, you rarely find that occurring because people don't want to miss what the campus night life has to offer.
