Overall

I think that this is a very affordable school when compared to other schools and the class size are ideal. I would recommend others to attend. The down fall about the school is that they dont provide student housing with meal plans.

Academics

There academic programs I would say are okay. If you are really into your studies you wont have problem with work load. Also you will see that every professor is human and they all have different personality and teaching techniques. On average a class size might include 30 students but getting halfway though course only 20 might remain.

College Life

College life is okay but needs a little more promotion of clubs and events I think with boost from maybe other club members that could enlighten other students to join clubs or give them insight so they know which clubs they might be interested in joining.

This college's Administration, advising, student help, and reception help are all complete BS jokes! They don't help you when you need it and do nothing but bump you from one person to the next because they're lazy; especially when all you're trying to do is CHECK something anyone can check! Whether it be about Financial Aid, Classes, Graduation; you name it they are all lazy, rude and refuse to do it!!! They don't care about the students and when they give the "falsified air" that they do during Orientation/Open House... I'll warn you, they're lying out of their arses! Not only that but this horrible college screws you over the moment they find out you've taken more credit hours than they've ALLOWED you to take. They won't even take responsibility even when it's their error in reading your transcripts, so they put you in financial aid suspension and then make it difficult for you to even sign up for classes because they will deny your Maximum Time Frame Appeal despite the proof you have they messed up. Their advisors are rude, their call desk receptionists are rude, and they will get an attitude with you if you ask too many questions. Did I mention it takes them days to call you back? If I could, I'd give this College a rating as "negative infinity" and warn absolutely everyone that going here is a waste of time and money. Go to PHCC or one of the State Universities like USF, UCF, UF, FSU; though they're not 100% better, they have it more together than this joke of a College. I've gone to this College for 2 years now; only stuck it out because I believed they would improve. I thought all the campus' were different but it turns out they are all the same. Now SOME of the Instructors are reaaaalllly nice. But you'll find that those Instructors also dual-teach at State Universities. Still telling any prospective students that if you don't care about never getting help or being screwed over by the faculty, then SPC is the College for you! If not, then go some place better where you actually get the quality classes you want and deserve. Because the classes in the Degrees and Subplans here are also a joke; they don't teach you anything you need to know when it comes to the real world; not even the generalized classes do this! Go to a specialized Institute or State University for that; else you're just wasting your money, scholarships, and FAFSA limit of 30k you get if you're under the age of 24. Have fun continuing your education at another University after that if you plan to when you're under 24.

Academics

Exact same as my overall for this college; some... and I mean SOME of the Instructor's actually care about you getting far in life and will do whatever they can to help in your academics... but with actual classes at this school they use to "prep" you... Let's face it, it's a waste of your time and money... You may as well learn it all from YouTube or free College information websites...

College Life

It appars the College has been, within the past year, starting to get certain club activities going for students who may be interested... but I've noticed after going here for 2 years that they die out very quickly and become unorganized. Like stated in the overall, at least some of the Instructors are nice and they are usually the ones who hold the best Clubs/Activities... However, those are few and far between on all of these campus'. I've jumped from campus to campus just to see if anything was different... Nope not at all; all are the same. Social atmosphere with other students isn't bad; but if that's all you're going to college for then you've picked the right place! Socialization instead of learning!

Overall

I love my school. I have the ability to select my classes by instructor, campus, and time. This allows me to work within my schedule to create a class load that allows me time with my family and does not interfere with other obligations I have. All my instructors are full of encouragement to succeed and will work with me if I my a class or test to ensure I get the best grades possible. My school has many events to help students with financial aid as well as events that are fun and allow us to bring family on campus to enjoy and learn from the events as well.

Academics

Most of the classes at my school are small so that the instructor can give more one on one time to students that may need help. There are several areas where we can get help with tutoring as well as having a technical and library area for us to use computers and do our work if we do not have computers or internet access. My school offers many degrees as well as having the ability to go to our campus but we can take classes connected to other colleges nation wide. This gives us the ability to have a degree from our college or from others thought the United States.

College Life

St Petersburg College has many clubs, organizations, and athletic facilities to give us the ability to interact with groups and improve our life skills. Campus safety is not an issue we have security available everywhere and can call for assistance at anytime. There are not many weekend activities most of them our held during the week but at times that any student can go to without missing class.

Overall

Overall I enjoy attending Saint Petersburg College and I wouls strongly recommend it to prospective students. The staff are well informed on the topics that students need the most guidance and information in, and the general atmosphere is casual with a welcoming presence. What I like the most about this school is its very flexible course schedules, as well as its resources throughout the campus for assistance if needed. My most memorable experience thus far has been my first day of my first class ever. I still remember walking the halls for the first time. Some tips I could give to future prospective students would be to not be too proud to ask for tutoring or help if you need it; the resources are always there and more thsn willing to help. Also, do not allow yourself to get behind in any class; it'll catch up to you.

Academics

The classes at SPC range over a vast selection; there is a class or program for everyone! The course catalog has hundreds of possible classes for any or every interest or program prerequisite. In addition to regular classes, this college also offers Honors courses if a student was accepted into the Honors College. This special program is for students looking for a more complex and detailed learning experience. SPC offers multiple Bachelor's degree programs, including the sciences, education, and computers. The professors are well educated in their teaching subjects, and friendly and knowledgable enough to go the extra mile if the student requests such or is in need of a little more attention. The workload is busy enough to provide much new information and mateiral throughout a class and a semester, so keeping up is a necessity. Class sizes are relatively small, so personal attention is available as well as group discussions.

College Life

The social atmosphere at Saint Petersburg College is one of comfort and excitement. There is usually always something going on in the on campus community to entertain and interest its students. Many quad events are held every month, with many specializing in particualr events such as history months or just to meet new students. Many clubs are held at this college - academic, sports, volunteering, etc.
