Overall
This place is an absolute scam! Outdated books. Some you don't even use, but will be charged full price for. Unaccredited instructors. The radio class consist of open book test, outdated equipment, and watching episodes of WKRP. The television class is pretty much the same. Not enough equipment to finish assignments. When you do get some finished, they lose it due to no responsible means of keeping track of the project. They just don't care. It's not about education. It's about the owner, and his daughters lining their own pockets. Recently ICB broke down and purchased some commercial time to run a new ad. A well spoken young lady, who claims to be a student, looks into the camera and tells us what a great experience she's having at ICB. The young lady is the owners daughter, Holly LeMaster, the same person who knowingly hands you your overpriced, and outdated books. Strange they wouldn't even use an actual student for the ad.
Academics
Instructors will just give you assignments so they can go work on their own personal projects. The test are open book. You watch WKRP, even though that show has nothing to do with the way radio operates today. The equipment in no way will prepare you for working in the business, as they claim. They know this too!
Campus Facilities & Safety
This place is so outdated. Old funky vending machines. On hot water in the bathrooms. In the "studio" they have 3 or 4 lights hanging for the set. You never learn how to light anything. I could go on and on. Long story, short. Stay away from this place, unless you want to buy the owners daughters, new cars.
