Rochester University is a school that values the arts, and thus provides numerous activities related to artistic expression.
Rochester University’s undergraduate majors are offered through the divisions of Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Engineering. Rochester is also home to a medical school and other graduate and professional programs, such as one in Business and one in Nursing.
Historically a top-ranking conservatory, Rochester’s Eastman School of Music is one of its more outstanding academic offerings.

Personally, I think that applicants should be aware that the atmosphere of URochester is not for those who only want to see their classroom and the inside of their dorm room for four years. With one of the country's premier music schools and a beautiful, bustling campus just outside your door, you would be doing yourself an injustice if you didn't take advantage of them.
