About College of Hair Design, Downtown
Located adjacent to the campus of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln campus, the College of Hair Design (CHD)– Downtown provides a vibrant and active college life. Students can mingle not only with CHD students, but also with Cornhuskers throughout Lincoln.
In terms of academics, College of Hair Design’s Downtown Campus offers three programs:
- Cosmetology
- Barber Arts
- Barber Arts (DLP)
The Cosmetology program is comprehensive in scope, while the Barber Arts program focuses on men’s hairstyling. For students interested in the complete package, the Barber Arts Dual Licensing Program combines the Cosmetology and Barber Arts curricula, preparing graduates to become licensed barbers and cosmetologists.
Admissions are flexible for College of Hair Design – Downtown. The school has about a half-dozen start dates throughout the year, so you can begin your education whenever is most convenient for you.
