Overall

The College of the Canyons campus in Valencia is so beautiful and the people are very friendly. It is very easy to relate to the students around you. This is a great place to figure out the perfect career for yourself!

Academics

There is a large variety of classes offered, and it is truly obvious that most professors care and are knowledgeable on their subjects. I recommend ratemyprofessor.com because the reviews are spot on about the class workload and if you are working you want to find the best professor to fit your schedule or informational needs. Many classes are large, but when you register it tells you the amount of students you will be in class with.

Campus Facilities & Safety

I love the campus atmosphere because many of the people going there are similar, yet have very diverse backgrounds. The facilities are awesome, they offer an excellent tutoring program in a large variety of subjects, many useful computer labs in an organized way. You will hear people talking poorly about the parking, but in my opinion it is not terrible although the parking fee is overpriced. I have never felt unsafe on the campus even during my night classes, there are even safety officers asking if you want a ride to your car late at night!

Overall

I had a great experience there as a student for almost two years. Freshly out of high school I was so scared going to college it seemed like a big step, but thanks to the fellow classmates and professors who take their time to explain thing clearly to their students was a major help.

Academics

The professors are great! They all want you to succeed. All very helpful. Their tutoring is great! one on one help on almost any subject you need help in especially their math and English tutors they read your essays word by word. The library is beautiful great place to study. The workload is pretty reasonable, enough for the students to understand what is being done in classes and prepare them for test and quizzes. The class sizes are average about thirty students.

Campus Facilities & Safety

The facility is very nice, the campus is very clean and safe. There are plenty of security guard around campus until late night classes finish. The restrooms are very clean. Very friendly environment. The price per unit is pretty reasonable. One thing I did dislike was the wait in admissions and record or even to do an appointment with a counselor. But other then that, the parking has expanded so much, the bookstore is very helpful, and in the computer lab everyone is nice. It is just such a great campus! Highly recommended to attend!
