Overall

This school is a very welcoming school. It is small, yet very diverse. The school campus is filled with faculty which help you succeed in every way possible. There are various events held throughout the year to get students to interact with one another. The thing which I like the most here at La Sierra is that there is a small student to teacher ratio. So it is extremely easy to ask for help. Classes are not extremely large, with a few exceptions, so it is easy to make friends and get more acquainted with your teachers. Tips for perspective students is to not be afraid to ask questions and get involved with clubs we have on campus.

Academics

The classes are fairly small, so it is extremely easy to ask for help. The professors here are extremely nice, and will make the time for you. Here at La Sierra every professor wants you to succeed. The work in every class is fair, i mean you have to do your work to understand the concepts. So it is not an amount of work that is unreasonable.

College Life

There are various clubs held here on campus, and if there is a club we do not have you are able to make on yourself! There is an event held once a year which includes all of the clubs and everyone is invited to join! It is a very fun experience to come to this Festival of Nations. We have various athletics which include men and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men soccer and women's volleyball.

Overall

As an interested student, I was given a complementary tour of the campus. I was shown all the diverse departments of the school, including the new and incoming additions. The campus is very large overall; it has many different departments. It offers many classes and it even has a church for those who enjoy worship. It is located on a mountain, with an incline as you walk through it, but it comes with a spectacular view. It came with many social areas including a cafe and dinning hall as well as places to study such as a library and a designated tutoring hall. What i liked the most was the atmosphere of the school. It was so peaceful and serene; a great learning environment, but it was also school focused and inviting. For the short time I was on the campus, I was fortunate enough to experience everything it had to offer. Overall, the school has an amazing atmosphere for learning and for socializing, and I am looking forward to attending it in the future.

Academics

As I toured the school, I took note of the many departments of learning it offers. It had one designated spot for every different department. The lady who lead my tour is a current student at La Sierra. She informed me of the class room sizes and learning atmosphere off of her experience. She told me most class sizes vary from about thirty to fourty students. The school also offers classes in lecture style, which include room for about 200 students. The class sizes vary as well. The school is currently doing some construction to add new departments into the school. Class sizes are expanding, making it comfortable for the students; as well as creating more areas to learn.

College Life

The atomosphere attracted me to the school almost instantly. It has such a peaceful flow in the air, one couldn't help but feel comfortable there. The campus was filled with activities from what I saw. It has many centers that would interest students such as a cafe, a library, a church, a dinning hall, and a huge green area in the middle of the campus where students can socialize before, after, or in between classes. I noticed many posters promotive different club organizations and athletics. The campus is huge; it has a distinct area for all of the athletic departments. It has a baseball field, a gym, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and much more. They even offer sports one wouldn't expect, like beach volleyball and canoeing. The school seems like a great place to learn, socialize, and experience college.
