Trojan Panther Student at This School - Grad Year 2013
I have been in several community colleges and state universities in CA, ID, AZ, and AL. Troy University is outstanding primarily with student support services. On the Troy campus there is a tutoring center, writing center, first year studies program, adaptive needs center (ADA students), etc. There is a great emphasis in helping first year students gain the tools and skills necessary for academic success. The IT support for online students is quick and available 24/7. The online courses (eTROY) which can be taken in conjunction with on campus courses are convenient when course selection is limited. Greek, ROTC (Army & Air Force), Athletics, Music, Student Government, ASL (Interpreting Program and Labs), International student organizations and community are just a few of the highlights of Troy University. Troy University is a military friendly school and great for the non-traditional student.
Brittany Heitling Student at This School - Grad Year 2012
I like the fact that the professors really care about the students. They are very approachable and helpful. I like that the university is medium sized so that you see people you knw but it is not too small.
