Academics Rating

USF has many different programs for students that already have a specific career path in mind such as pre-law, pre-med, 7 year medical and Engineering. In each of these they already have the classes picked out that each student should take and has them on an easy to read flow chart so that the student can easily determine what's next. So far all of the professors and Graduate Assistants i have had have been very good and kind people that are willing to help students if they are willing to help themselves too. My workload wasn't too intense this semester but then again my classes weren't very difficult yet. The class size depends entirely on what the class is for instance 2 of my classes were 20-30 people, 1 was 30-40 and the other 2 were 100+ people lecture halls.

Academics Rating

I believe the academics of the University are high in ranks and so much can be achieved. Each professor has their own style of teaching, but in the end it is really up to the individual. Same goes for academics, you have to put the effort in to see results. The professors thus far, have been great. Depending on which course you are taking and how involved you are, it will determine the outcome. With a little bit of effort, one can go a long way, as long as they are determined and consistent. One thing I learned is, you must have passion for whatever you are doing, especially your studies. Pick a field that you are passionate about and that you will enjoy.
