What I like most about OTEC is how they prepare you for your future. Classes run from early in the morning to mid day- Monday-Thursday with Friday being a free day to come in and work on your project. Tthis sets you up for the real world, going to work each day; attending each day (attendance is mandatory- Like the real world). Enjoy your time here, make friends and connections... now is the time to do it!!
Academics
Each program is in it's own area and the class size is small (25 students). The teachers work one on one with you and show you the techniqes used in creating different fabrications. It is a great working (learning) enviroment.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus is small which is great. Very quickly you get to learn where all the departmartments and programs are. Although it is in an area that may look rough at first, OTEC has done a great job in developing and increasing it's campus to provide a safe place for students.

Great school to go to and I would recommend it to anyody interested in the automotive field. It's a good step and you can't go wrong. I will guarantee you will leave the school with a certification of a real technican and degree of your choice.
Academics
Each program helps the student prepare for a career in the field of thier choice. There are reasonable amount of students in a classroom so that instructer's will beable to tech and give hands on experience to the students.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus is full of life because everybody comes to school ready to learn. There are different facilities where students learn so that they may get the ful experience of the school. There's security there that keeps the school and people safe.

I think that overall the school is a pretty good school. They have a very good balance between bookwork, and work that is hands on. They also have a very good set of instructers that are helpful.
Academics
The classes cover all of the basic needs to start an automotive career.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus provides all the necessities for a full time college student. Parking is always availible, and security is always on top of things.

Overall
The staff was friendly, but that's about it. The admissions team cares about quotas, not applicants. They'll bend over backwards to get you the loans, but don't care if they can be paid back. $30k in an education to get a $13/hour job. What a great investment! This "school" will likely lose it's accreditation soon.
Academics
The professors were kind, but not professional in any way. Class size was small which helped, but was quite unorganized.
Campus Facilities & Safety
Facilities were ok, but the campus is in the middle of a bad area. So safety is a concern. The atmosphere is very sad.

Overall
I feel that OTC is a great school their work facilities, classrooms, and rec areas seem top notch and they really try helping students find jobs in their field of study, which is the whole point of college. I just wish that call schedules were a little more flexible.
Academics
The classrooms/work facilities are amazing. You can tell that even though the professors mean business, they are willing to put in extra work to help their students as long as the student themselves show that they really care about their work.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The facilities and computers labs really seem like they are top of the line. Safety seems like one of the main priorities on campus and students have ample space to park their vehicles. The campus atmosphere is nice and never feels extremely busy or overwhelming.
