When it comes to doing my research for colleges, I try to make sure I've covered all of my bases. I have learned that it's very important to be aware of evertyhing a college has to offer and how a particular college can work out long term. What I love most about this college is that it's close to home, it's very much affordable, and, most importantly it will allow me to reach my goals, both long-term and short-term. Due to my just starting to attend BCC, I don't have a favorite professor as of yet, but science departments are definitely my favorites. getting around campus is easy and quite enjoyable; there are so many walkways that can be traveled on the way to class, there are trees everywhere, flowers here and there, and a beautiful fountain right next to the main building. Since I'm pretty new I tend to rely on my campus map, but since I love nature and being surrounded by it, making the walk to class is always a fun experiencing, making me peacful and relaxed in time for class. One of my favorite features of the college is the fitness room, which was just recently redone. I'm not much of a gym person, but the fitness center allows me the chance to be active in a clean, intimate, and un-crowded area. What I love most about Bristol Community College, though, is the fact that it is so community-based; I like being able to go to school to get an education and also be exposed to different events, causes, and cultures. This keeps me grounded as well as involved in my local community. Being new, both to the school as well as the area/state, I like that there are always opportunities being offered and things to do, both on and off campus. I enjoy feeling involved and being a part of the Bristol Community College family and can't wait for the Summer session to get started!
