Pikes Peak Community College, formerly El Paso Community College, is accessible to everyone, regardless of educational background or age.
Located in Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Community College is the choice school for many home-schooled students because of its open access policy. Students do not need a diploma or even a GED to attend PPCC, nor do they require transcripts. Even students younger than 18 may enroll by obtaining a waiver form.
With thousands of students enrolled yearly, PPCC is one of the largest community colleges in Colorado.
In order to cater to its large student population, PPCC offers more than 140 degree and certificate programs helping lead students to employment or to a university transfer.
Student services are also comprehensive. In addition to academic advising and career planning services, PPCC offers special support for first generation students, military personnel, women, students re-entering college and international students.
