If you want to receive the training to prepare for a career as a cosmetologist, the John Jay Beauty College in New Orleans, Louisiana, will help you on your way by teaching the lessons of the internationally acclaimed stylist John Jay.
Whether you want to be a hairstylist, esthetician or nail technician, the college has academics for you. Moreover, it also prepares you for other aspects of the beauty industry, like owning a salon, teaching cosmetology and representing manufacturers. Students have the opportunity to take advanced training courses as well.
The John Jay Beauty College is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, so you can be sure the instruction you’ll receive is dynamic and up-to-date.
Each course is 750 clock hours in duration, except the cosmetology course, which is 1500 hours: the minimum for licensure in the state of Louisiana.
