Reviews for University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
I love my school and really can't complain much about it. I truly think USciences is different in that we are so focused on academics but there's always room left for fun. I love how easy it is to get involved and how students can and do make a difference.
I love most all of my classes in my program. My advisor was very helpful in letting me chose classes that will prepare me for graduate school. The workload is what tends to get to people here. USciences is for serious students and the workload reflects that.
I love student life! I am a member of the Greek community, a member of Student Government and a former cheerleader. It's so easy and so worthwhile to get involved. Our campus is small so getting out there is easy and helps you feel more a part of campus.
This is one of the few schools in PA that offere the DTP of Physical Therapy; it allows me to attend a great school, in a great city, near family and friends, while working towards my DTP in Physical Therapy. This was my first choice and I will be starting my studies there in Fall 2012.
USciences is a small school that focus on academics where teachers are able to work with the students to enable them to acheive their goals. This enables each student the one-on-one interaction they need.
In the times I visited, toured and shadowed, the students there were extremely friendly and gave me the insight of how the campus works. While studying is the number one focus, there are many activities that bring students together and allow for more than just academics. They have a weight room and Starbucks!
