Reviews for Molloy College
Molloy is a small school atmosphere with very helpful and knowledgable teachers. Most memorable experiences come from the Honors program and the international travel to Italy and France. I met great friends that share a common interest in nursing .We are able to study together and share our clinical experiences with each other. The trips have united us and enabled us to create lifelong friendships.
Small classes with professors that are intelligent and experienced in their subject matter. The workload is intense, but it is always relevant and interesting. The Honors program has offered a connection to students with similar high academic standards as my own, and has provided me with challenging material that has helped me grow as a person.
The new campus housing has added a great new college atmosphere butt it is mainly a commuter school and could offer more activities that unite the students to hang out and interact. With a heavy course load and most students commuting, there is little time to simply enjoy the college for entertainment or pleasure. It does however provide excellent work spaces and support for study and research.
There is a very close-knit atmosphere. There's always a familiar face, and there are endless opportunities to seek assistance with whatever you may need. This is what I like the most. For prospective students, I would just say be prepared to study hard! Additionally? Familiarize yourself with all campus resources (and there are alot) early on. They are there to make your life easier!
I am currently studying in the nursing program, which is one of the best in the country. Classes are small which is very very helpful. And it's always nice to know that your professors really know you and are available almost whenever you need them. The program is definitely a very difficult one, but the end result is undeniably great. Students leave with the abilities to be excellent nurses, and hospitals, offices, and clinics recognize this. We are held to a very high standard, and it pays off.
I am a commuter student, so it is not often that I am on campus for the social events. And unfortunately, it is a bit too far to make the trip more often than I need to. However, there is ALWAYS something going on there. My inbox is perpetually filled with emails about various events and parties. Additionally there is a vast array of clubs available. Everything from Harry Potter to Red Cross. It is a very safe campus; it's never difficult to locate a security officer.
