Reviews for Arizona State University - Online School
ASU online has been a blessing. I have been searching for just the right graphic design degree that fits my schedule, and this is it. I have all the flexibility of an online student with the challenging environment of a four year university. The tuition is also not as bad as many of the online programs I researched. I like the accelerated 7 week courses; they are making it possible to complete my degree faster. The support ASU offers is also awesome. As a transfer student, I was given an online coach that calls weekly for six months to help me create good action plans to succeed in my degree.
The classes are both challenging and exciting. The technology is easy to use. The teachers are always available for questions, and the assignments are relevant to the criteria of the course. So far, I have had two different learning experiences. One with the a textbook and one with a series of videos. It was interesting to experience both types, and both were effective for my learning.
I transferred to ASU from APU last year.. I found myself in a position where I needed to finish my bachelors degree online. It was a fairly simply process transferring from APU to ASU. ASU made it simple. I am thrilled to be able to finish my degree totally online. The online process of learning is user-friendly easy to navigate. I haven't had any trouble getting into the classes I need to complete my degree. Overall, this has been a simple, easy process.
I ahve to say that the quality of my classes is definitely not up to par with that of my previous school, APU. I am sure that has something to do with taking courses online, versus in person but I don't feel like I am learning nearly as much as I was before. That is somewhat disappointing because I was really enjoying my major classes but I am thankful that I can at least finish my degree.
