College Life Rating

This university is located downtown Birmingham Alabama and is a medical school. Because of its location, and the size iof Birmingham, there are lots of social, and nightlife opportunities on weekends. There are many restaurants, shops clubs and other gathering places within walking distance of campus. There are also numerous social clubs on campus that a student may join. In addition to social clubs, there are fraternities/sororities, all the sports expected from a university, including intramural sports. The student center is hugh and contains a health club and other activities. It is a wonderful place for students to gather. As mentioned earlier, the campus is located downtown in a large city. The campus is well lit with emergency call buttons and security around the campus all the time. Guests have to sign in and out of the dorms and there is a curfew for the time a guest should leave the dorm. A lot of students don't like this, but it's only in the freshmen dorms. I don't mind this at all and it's one of the reasons this is a safe campus. I am looking forward to exploring Birmingham and making new friends, some whom I believe will become lifelong friends.
