Reviews for Mountain View College
It was great. All the faculty were polite and informitive. It has been some time ago when I attended the school, but from my past experiencethere it was fine. I did good at Basic Draftin. I hadn't been in a educational institution priior to this school, unless you count my High School experience. Anyways...The college was qiete most of the timew when I was attending classes there and that made for a much more comfortable vist while attending. I went back the nest year and was takeing classes ion saterdays. I took Auto-Cad with no computer knowledge at the time and I was doing ok untill my job iI had at the time and personal family obl;igations began to interfere with my atendance so I had to withdraw from the school, which to me was sad to say the least. I was just beginig to get my selfd rolling with my academical quest. As it had been some time since I had attended any school with High School being my last source of education.
Mr. Whimbly was my directive. I took basic drafting there . We had all types of equipment available. Plotters and Blue Print Printers. A very large black board which was nice especially when used as a drawing aid for all the students to follow from different vantage points though the class were concentrated with a 20 to 1 student / teacher ratio.

Very pleaaant and clean. I drove from Grand Prairie to Oak Cliff , Dallas, where the school was located. It's location was easily accessed from loop 12 via I-30. I could get in and out of the parking artea with ease. And the landscaping of the school was very professionaly done and was alwayus cut and groomed respectivly
I thought it was a tranquil quiet campus. It was sad to see that the building had not been updated and the landscaping wasn't maintained very well. I can't comment on the classes as I was only there to pick up my transcripts.
The majority were exceptional. There is always one professor that you have difficulties understanding due to their accent or teaching style (or both) but, looking back, it's the reality of the workforce as well.

Quite a bit more loitering from what I remember. I was only there a few hours do it's hard to critically access. Administration services appeared to have recently hired two Hispanic women and provided little or no training which seems to be fairly universal in today's work force.
