Overall

The University of Mississippi is very special to me for many reasons. First off, it does not seem like just a school, I would say it is more like family. I absolutely love seeing new faces each day, but also strengthening the relationships I have already made. Ole Miss is a home away from home. I feel very safe here and love everything that goes on. This campus has many organizations to be involved in so that no one feels left behind. It is a very friendly campus and it is nice to see smiling faces while walking to class. The football games are very memorable because the students all come together and support our football players. It is so encouraging to see the love that comes out of this school. If there is ever help needed, someone is there to help you. As long as you try your very hardest you will succeed anywhere you go, but Ole Miss is definitely the place to go!

Academics

The class size all depends on the subject and the workload also depends on the subject. This semester I am taking 16 hours and in order to do well, I have to stay on top of all my classes so I do not get behind. The programs are very great and there are a lot to choose from. Professors are very nice and they actually do care about you learning and not just passing, but you have to put your on effort into it as well.

College Life

This campus is one of the safest campuses around. There are emergency poles located all around campus in case anyone ever feels scared or worried. There are amazing opportunities here through clubs and organizations. It all depends on how much one wants to be involved in. The weekend activities and athletics always has something fun going on. I have never experienced a weekend where something isn't going on which is encouraging because I never have to spend a weekend bored with nothing to do. Ole Miss always has great opportunities to meet new people and to get involved!

Overall

I wish that I knew exactly what to look for in a school. The classes I needed to reach my goal on campus and online. UM does not offer enough online. My favorite professor would have to be Professor Lindsey. Though she is young and I am an adult learner she takes the time to listen to what I have to say.To sum her up with less than caring and concerned would be an injustice. The Psychology Department is my favorite department. The adviser was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me in making the best choices for my schedule. I have no secrets to tell you about getting around campus. It is just one building. I go to University of Mississippi on the Tupelo campus because it is closer for me. The study hall enhances due to the fact that if you forgot your computer in the car there is one right there in the study hall. Tupelo campus it is small so therefore you are closer. At the University campus there are better facilities but that is not to say that you would be close.

Academics

The Professors I have had to now have been good. I love the power point they teach their lessons from. You may down load the presentation with the option of lines on the pages for you to take notes. You have an opportunity to ask questions if the material is not clear. The size of the classes are not bad at all. We run between thirty to forty per class.

College Life

I have found that because this is a small campus that the people are fairly friendly. You must remember that I am an adult student therefore the children at this age are trying out their independence and not wanting older people around to remind them of what is right and wrong. This is not you have to say anything but your presents personifies. They always have activities going but largely on the UM campus where we are not.
