Reviews for The University of Texas at El Paso
Being a student at The University of Texas at El Paso has been a pleasure. The atmosphere that a person as a student gets as soon as the semester start is of familiarity and joy. I fell really comfortable every day that I attend classes at UTEP. Professors as well as students make a student fell as part of a huge family. There university is very complex. It has many activities and clubs that students can get into. I personally enjoy the activities that the university puts together in the west wing area. They often have activities like contest to win prizes and have local artist perform for the enjoyment of students. Compare to other schools in the U.S. UTEP tuition is very accessible. In other Universities a student pays a lot more for the same kind of education that he/she could get in a local university. Inside the campus a student can find everything. one does not have to travel to get what we need. We can find good food even inside the campus. When it comes to classes a student can find all variety of courses offer for any kind of likes.
The University of Texas at El Paso is a University that makes me feels like home. There are classes for all kind of tastes. If person is interested in a specific subject she /he most than likely will find that class at UTEP. Class sizes are very comfortable if a person has any question the instructor may be able to answer the doubt because the class size are not as big compare to other places. There are really good professors that one as a student will learn a lot with them. Professor like Patricia Armendariz unique in her teaching style and makes her the best teacher I had ever had in my life.
The social atmosphere is phenomenal. If there is a student traveling out of state he will definitely not miss their old friends. People welcome you like a family member. There is a lot you can do to not get bored. There is a lot of clubs for all kind of enjoyment. There is also a lot of activities that the university organizes at the west wing for the enjoyment of students. There are also weekend activities that a student can do. Outside the campus there is a variety of places that one can go to have fun.
My overal experience at the University of Texas at El Paso was great. During the 3 semesters that I attended to the school, I did not feel lost at all like most studests feel on their firt year of college. I felt at home.
Academically UTEP is very good school, the workload for me the fisrt year was not a lot, which helped my transition fron high school to college. Most Professors are very helpful and the class sizes are comfortable.
There is a lot of Life at UTEP, there are many organizations a student can join, there are many events to attend, and all of thiss opportunities are offered at a very safe environment. The school is located near downtown, which means there are a lot of nearby weekend activities.
Overall UTEP, Is a school that's great way to start a new journey towards aiming to get your degree and getting a job experience because one of my teacher was giving opportunities for us criminal justice majors to work at the justice Drive street for a government positions that were available in summer but I want to keep to persuade my dream to keep studying. So I can gain, success in life for more opportunities that do exist out there for employment and meeting new people, as well UTEP has a great security day and at night with great officers who are there to help and more security guards that work there too, which students can apply to work as a CSC staff event, what it is a security guard with a great way to earn income while studying there, at UTEP I am one of them, who knows UTEP is a great way to earn your degree and get a great opportunity to work as well.
One of so many great professors is my one memorable professor, Ms, Ortega, Bernedatte, has a small class size to help individual students to gain success in criminal justice programs for work opportunities and study as well and gain experience while studying.
Great atmosphere to work and study too there is so many unbelievable weekend activities too, or by simply studying individually or in group at the library where is quiet and safely and has a coffee shop and a food court and has high technology computers as a laboratory and its in the library and around the whole school (UTEP) has high technology computers as laboratories.
