Overall
I really like Radford. I enjoy being on a smaller campus, the class sizes are great. I feel like I learn more being in a class with 40 people, rather than being in a lecture hall with 1,000. The only thing I don't care for here is the food, there aren't many options, and there really aren't many healthy options.
Academics
The work load isn't unbearable, if you put time into doing your school work, you're going to do well. The class sizes are great, usually around 40 people when you're doing first year classes, and I heard they get smaller as you go.
College Life
Campus is very social, there are a ton of clubs to join. Greek life is a big part of our campus. I've never felt unsafe on campus, they have emergency phones around just in case, and campus police very close. Athletic evens are free to get into as long as you have your student ID.

Overall
What I love most about Radford University is the social atmosphere; there is always something to do, and overall if you have any problems Radford faculty and staff are always willing to help you solve the problem or come up with the best solution.
Academics
Radford has grown tremendously over the years and almost feels as though we have more students than we can actually fit, so overall everything feels overly populated. I have not come across a professor that I just didn't like or I felt was not helpful, and the workload is easy but sometimes feels pointless.
College Life
The social atmosphere at Radford is always fun! There are tons of activities throughout the week ranging from free to discounted; you're never bored, to say the least. I don't feel that the campus is THAT safe! I will be living at the end of the campus next semester and I am very concerned because we have had tons of students assaulted on or near campus.

Overall
AVOID 8AM classes. Just saying that theyre awful especially if youre me and you have them everyday. But i love it here its a beautiful campus and while its small it kinda makes it feel like a nice tight knit community here at Radford. I've had a wonderful experience here and hopefully if youre looking for a great school Radford University is the place to be.
Academics
I'll warn you 8am classes are rough. But otherwise i've found that classes are mostly decent sized except for Biology classes or 100 classes for your major because then the class sizes are pretty large. I've found that the more you interact with your professors and the better they know you the better they can help you in class if you dont understand a certain topic. Just dont email them the day or even 5 minutes before class, because theyre people too and they have lives.
College Life
The atmosphere is pretty great, they almost always have something going on during the week from concerts to little activities sponsored by your dorm hall. There are tons of clubs here to join so you can meet new people with the same interests or even create a club yourself. Radford has its own police force that makes the campus safe. While we dont have a football team there are several sports teams here on campus.
