Overall

Originally I did not think much of Rutgers which is why it was not my first choice when I was searching for a 'good' school. After getting accepted to eight schools I decided to come to Rutgers and today I am glad I made that decison. I picked Rutgers over all of the other schools because it was closer home and it cost less. However, after starting my life in college I found out all the great resources that Rutgers offerered for its diverse community. The academics is right on point and the progams offered for any majors or fields are incredible. Also, because Rutgers is so big, there's always something to do at any of the four campuses and it never gets boring. Aside from having fun, I also love that Rutgers offers learning living communities to those that want to focus on a specific subject or field. I live in a learning community for STEMS (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) majors and it's very helpful because I am around other people who have the same interest as me and can give me advice on anything from picking the right courses or being able to manage my time effectively. Also, becuase we're science majors, our living community is nice and quiet which is essential for preparing for exams and I don't have to deal with issues regarding loud volume in my residence. Rutgers is great because it provides the necessary resources that will benefit the students and allow them acheive their goals as they intend to. Overall Rutgers New Brunswick is a great school and I would reccomend it to anyone who wants to benefit from strong acdemics and great resources and oportunities on campus for a very small price compared to that of any other schools.

Academics

Rutgers academics is very strong and that is great because students should graduate with the best edication when graduating from a university. Most professors are great but there are always a few that are around but they can be avioded simply by looking them up before registering for classes or by friending upper-classmen who are in the same fields and can give advice on which professors to avoid. My professors have been great so far and I plan to keep relationship with them by going for help so they can write me a great letter of reccomendation when needed. Most classrooms are small unless you are taking courses that are taken by many others majors, such as chemistry, psychology. These course are usually lecture size with about 200-300 students in an auditorium style classroom. Other courses such as english or mathematics can be from a small lecture room size conatingi about 100-students to a small classroom size with about eight students. work load is also not bad if you can manage your time effectively, and that may need some time if you are an incoming freshmen. However there are programs for those freshmens to get adjusted and do well in college in their first semster.

College Life

Clubs and organizations are endless at Rutgers New Brunswick, espiecially because there are four big campuses and each have hundreds of organizations and or events and programs to attend. The social atmosphere is great and there is always someone to friend on campus to have as company.

Overall

Rutgers University has been nothing except a great experience for me ever since I moved in. The dining is phenomenal, the classes are involving, and there is always something to do whether it's on campus or off. With New York City only a 45 minute train ride away and a great campus life, mixed with the world renowned academics and cheap in state tuition, Rutgers has the perfect balance of academics to cost to fun ratio.

Academics

The classes at Rutgers are extremely involved and there are amazing professors. The class size varies greatly depending on if you are taking a lower level class that many people are required to take or a specialty class that's meant more for juniors or seniors

College Life

It is extremely easy to get involved with intramural or club sports along with fraternities and sororities in which there are an abundance at Rutgers. On top of that, there are daily emails about any extracurricular activities as well as any crime reports that occur on or around campus.

Overall

I like my school for everything. Specially, the friendly atmosphere that is all around. I was hugely surprised to see that the deans, advisers, and directors of the university are so aupporting and friendly.

Academics

They have about 15-20 people in a general class and about 40-50 students in a class like Maths or physics, but the best part is that the professors and T.A's are so helping that it is so easy to got on with difficult stuff.

College Life

They have everything on-campus. Movies are shown to students, concerts, conferences, events, fairs, etc....is always going on in the campus of course including study programs as well which makes it so delightful to be on-campus.
