Overall
Johnson County Community College provides a wonderful environment for every person on campus. Inside the intimate campus of JCCC, contains everything a student could ask for, including computer labs, resource centers, cafeteria's, coffee bars, and even a museum. The thing I like the most about the school is that every single professor cares about the students and wants to get to know them. For any prospective student, use the resources given to you by the school and you will have no problem with achieving good grades.
Academics
The academics given at Johnson County Community College offer every student a class towards their intended degree, no matter what they plan to pursue. Class sizes are usually about 25 students, which gives every student the chance to develop a close relationship with the professors. The professors are very professional and make it their goal each semester to get to know the students and make sure everybody is working to their abilities.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus atmosphere at Johnson County Community College is second to none. The campus is much different than any other community college I have visited, as the campus is very well maintained and renovated. The facilities provided by JCCC ensure that every student has the resources to excel in school. Although i have not used the computer labs, I have spent many hours in the Science, Math, and Writing Resource Center. Each resource center provides tutors and study models for every subject, in which every student can achieve an understanding of material by simply visiting the resource center.

Overall
It's nice that there is a community college around that has such high ratings. It's a big difference from your stereotypical community college. I just wish there were more opportunities to meet people.
Academics
Class sizes are good and small and most teachers are easy to work with. Some classes need more teachers and hours because some fill up incredibly fast and then you're screwed out of a credit that you really need.
Campus Facilities & Safety
Safety is good, parking isn't terrible, but parking is never great, and the atmosphere is pretty boring. Nothing ever really goes on and its hard to meet new people. The library is very small but the people there are helpful.

Overall
The school is really amazing and very surprising considering it is a community college which normally I would not think would have very many things available for students to pursue but it really does have many things available for students to be a part of. Being on the tennis team at the school I was really able to be a part of the school by being in a sports team and they treat you the same no matter if you are a athlete which is refreshing because it gives me a chance to really see what I can do and if I can really handle college. The school has so many resources with tutors and resource centers that you always have someone to go to as well as the professors are amazing and really are able to get personalized one on one time with them which makes this school even better. I loved how helpful everyone is at this school!
Academics
Your pick all your classes and pick what time your class is at and the variety of teachers is numerous which makes it better able to find a teacher that fits your learning style and its impressive you can always find the class you want and your schedule is how ever you make which makes it better able to fit church obligations, work obligations, and anything else that comes up.
Campus Facilities & Safety
There is campus wifi and computers are always available and you can always find a place to study which is nice. Parking is good if you get here early but late and it will be a good walk to class but the campus looks brand new and everyone is really nice to each other and its definitely a safe campus.

Overall
Johnson County Community College has a beautiful campus, arranged around a central courtyard, which makes it easy to navigate. The staff and professors are respectful and courteous. JCCC offers free help with writing papers and math homework in their resource centers. Counselors are knowledgeable and helpful, and a counselor from KU visits JCCC once a week. The cafeteria has plenty of options for eating, plus coffee from The Roasterie (a Kansas City favorite). JCCC has a fantastic reputation, and most of the credits are transferable to any four year school in the area. I feel I received a fantastic education for my first two years of college, at a lower cost. The classes aren't any easier, but it seem to be easier to find the help you need to be successful.
Academics
Johnson County Community College offers many certificates and degrees; there's something for everyone looking for higher education. The math department is full of people who just want to share their knowledge of mathematics. Professors are helpful and almost always available for help. The math resource center is extremely helpful; tutors are always available and there are study rooms for a group of three or more. Workload is what can be expected at a college level, at least an hour everyday (for an A or B student), per class (maybe not so much with humanities and social science departments). Class sizes range from about 25 to 40 students, which is very reasonable.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The Johnson County Community College campus is always lively. When the weather is nice they'll set up a volleyball net. The facilities are nice, the buildings look fairly new, even the ones that are not new. Bathrooms are always clean. There is water bottle filling stations near water fountains to encourage the use of reusable bottles. Smoking is prohibited, except for in designated areas far away from where a majority of students are and in your own car. JCCC has fully trained Overland Park Police officers patrolling the campus and there are call buttons all around campus for emergencies. The main parking garage and several buildings are connected, which makes it easy to walk around campus in the rain and snow. There are several computer labs around campus, and there are always computers open.

Overall
JCCC is a Great school.l staff and students are nice, friendly and ready to help if you need it or get lost if its your first year. The campus design is great and its easy to get around and the food court is great looks like a fancy restaurant.I would say to any student that is thinking about going to JCCC. It's amazing school it has a awesome atmosphere. students are very social-able and so are the teachers.
Academics
classes are small. Its easier to get questions asked from your professor or if you need one on one time with the professor for extra help.workload can get crazy if you have a full-time job while being a full-time student. It makes it hard to get everything together
Campus Facilities & Safety
the Atmosphere at JCCC is great, staff& students are friendly and helpful especially when you get lost.the facilities are kept clean and organized.theirs many comp labs throughout JCCC theirs usually a lot of open spots and the lab sizes are pretty big.there are a lot of organizations and clubs at JCCC theirs postings to join them throughout the school.and the campus has its own police force and the cities police academy is on sight.so its a pretty safe school.

This school helped me get to The University of Kansas school of Architecture and Design. It's safe, clean, and the staff is great. If you work hard at this school you will have no problems transferring or moving up in what ever your pursuing.
Academics
The professors are awesome, and the classes are never to big. there are some really nice resources, Math center, writing center, and the science resource center. Very large for a community college and a great art collection.
Campus Facilities & Safety
many Helpful councilors, and plenty of things to get involved with but they are kind of hard to find out about. Take you time in researching professors and see who will fit your learning style the best.
