Metropolitan Community College’s Elkhorn Valley Campus (MCC EVC) is ideal for art students. Though its academics are not limited to the arts, MCC EVC is equipped with two visual arts labs, in addition to a library and computer labs.
The campus also recently opened the Gallery of Art and Design. This gallery, which is open year-round, features rotating exhibitions of student and faculty artwork. The Gallery of Art and Design is a great opportunity for fine arts students to gain some experience working with a gallery, and to exhibit their work in a public space.
To apply for MCC EVC’s financial aid opportunities, you must complete the FAFSA. This will determine your eligibility for state and federal grants, as well as institutional scholarships. MCC’s scholarships require a separate application, so visit the website for more information on application procedures and deadlines.
MCC’s admissions process is as straightforward as they come. No application or fee is required, and any student over the age of 18 who can benefit from MCC EVC’s programs is welcome to enroll. If you have taken the ACT, you should send your scores to the school, but this is not required for admission.
