Overall

Overall, I think Morgan State is an okay school. What I like most is how respectful and helping people are in the classrooms. Everyone in the classes are focused and are willing to help ohters or be helped.

Academics

Morgan's professors are helpful, only if you ask them to help. Some act like they do not care, but you have to remember to take responsibilty for your studying and your grades. The workload isn't too bad and the class size varies on the time of the day and semester.

College Life

The social atmosphere is great. There are many people making friends and having a good time. There are many clubs and organizations for students to join and participate in. The campus safety is okay, but does need to get better, especially for students who have night classes.

Academics

The work load isn't that much for a freshman

College Life

Morgan State University has a wide variety of organizations greek and non-greek. Im sure that you've heard from other reviews that morgan is known as a party school.lately there havent been that many parties that I myself know of. On average there are about 7 to 10 parties a month. There are at least 10 fratenaties and 6 sororities. I havent heard of any greeks hosting any social events lately accept for their probates. Many of the football games are away.

Overall

Overall the school was very good to me despite the location of the school. I like that MSU was a very well rounded school and they always had many events and forums going on to keep everyone interacting well together. Tip to any prospective students: Keep good company. The people you surround yourself around are going to be the ones who have the most influence on what you do or don't do. Focused people and strive to reach your goals.

Academics

Classes are very short but condensed. To me that is a good thing because you can go into class and learn the information you need without dragging the time out and becoming distracted with the work. Also, most of the teachers have great work ethic so its easy for you to stay in tune with the class without falling behind or feeling lost.

College Life

Baltimore is a very city on events and clublife so there is always things to do and the school is located right at the border of the city and county so you can get the best of both worlds. There are many many colleges in the same area and that provides for alot of networking and activites all over. Not only that MSU has many sports.

Overall

Overall this school is a classic HBCU. I enjoyed the great pride and history there at MSU. You really get a sense of the heritage of the people that have gone before you. This school is a great spring board to starting your collegiate education. Take the tour and ask plenty of questions!

Academics

The engineering program is a heavy load but the tutoring program is great and always available. There is a pre engineering program available for select students. You are able to get a good taste of the types of things you will learn and what is expected of you.

College Life

Greek life is alive and well and the student center is amazing. During the winter everyone hibernates and in the summer the atmosphere is alive and well. The school is not too far from the Baltimore Inner Harbor which is a great tourist spot and a great place to enjoy local foods.
